Pair of vintage painted carved wood French Louis the XVI style armchairs 1930

  

On Offer here is this pair of good quality. Vintage French 1960s Louis XVI style armchairs. 94 cm x 74 cm x 70 cm wide.

Seat height 41 cm seat depth 54. Classic Louis the XVI style chairs carved beech wood frames. With carved scroll decoration and acanthus leaf decoration on the crest rail and seat rail, then they have been painted white. The Patina has a lovely atmosphere there are some chips to the gilt but all of this is in keeping with their age.

The Upholstery is silk with pink and white pattern in the fabric. The chairs have a lovely warm atmosphere and would bring a lot of style to any room in the house. The main structure of the chairs is sound in fact a solid is the day we left the workshop.

The material is in good condition no splits or cracks in need of a clean especially on the arm pads but is odourless. You are very welcome to collect yourself or arrange your own courier.
